SMHA is excited to announce an opportunity for individuals passionate about minor hockey to get involved in a development role.  We are looking for enthusiastic people to help lead young talent and foster a love for the game. 

 

SMHA is reaching out to individuals who are eager to share their knowledge and passion for hockey by taking on various roles within our organization. We have a range of exciting opportunities, including:

• Head Coach: Lead and inspire a team, creating strategies and fostering a positive team culture.
• Assistant Coach: Support the head coach by helping with drills, team dynamics, and individual player development.
• Evaluators: Assess player skills and potential to help shape balanced and competitive teams.
• Coach Mentors: Guide and support new coaches, sharing your expertise and insights.
• On-Ice Camp Instructors: Deliver engaging sessions focused on skill development and fun.

SMHA is offering a range of roles suited to different levels of time commitment, from volunteer positions to those with paid honorariums. Whether you have a few hours a week or more time to dedicate, there’s a role that can fit your schedule and passion for hockey.
