U13/U15/U18 Registration fees

SMHA instituted that all U13, U15, and U18 registered players would be paying the additional AA team fee at the point of registration, rather than after evaluations and team selection.

What this means is that each team in U13 B or C, U15 A, and U18 A, will be issued funds in the form of a cheque made out to the team to apply to each player’s team fees. These team fees will be refunded in November, once teams have been formed and information provided to the treasurer.

The funds that will be sent to the teams are outlined below:
U13 B/C - $130.00 per player
U15 A - $305.00 per player
U18 A - $195.00 per player

U13, U15 and U18 divisions have limited spots. We will accept a specific number of registrations then utilize a waiting list. As we have enough on the waitlist we will open up more teams and take more registrations. It’s very important to register even if you get put on a waitlist.

If you are registering for U13, U15 and U18 please do so as soon as you can to avoid being put on the waitlist. Our goal is always to take as many registrations as possible but we also need to provide a positive hockey experience for all. Controlling the number of registrations allows us to avoid problems of having too large or too small of a roster. We will always endeavor to place every girl on a Comets team if we can.

Goalie Reimbursements

Registration must be paid in full or the goalie will not be allowed on the ice for evaluation skates. To help with the financial burden the Comets are continuing our fee reimbursement program for Goalies. If your child plays consistently as a goalie in U11 through U18, you will receive a 50% registration fee reimbursement that you can use to offset training costs. In January/February, once your coach verifies playing time, Comets will issue a reimbursement.
